Whether you are an experienced athlete or a couch potato there is a lot to be gained from a yoga practice. All levels welcome. Come workout with other men and explore the relief yoga can offer to stressful lives and cranky joints. \n\n\n\nWhile the class is designed for men\, all genders are welcome! The class takes place at Fountain Square on the plaza south of Davis Street. Please bring a mat if you have one. Stop by 2002 Central to redeem and mention “Wellness Wednesdays!” \n\n\n\nPlease join The Yoga Post for their ANCHOR class. The Yoga Post does not offer typical gym yoga. Their method is rooted in consistency\, accessibility\, and joy. TYP will support you making rituals out of your routine. And the Anchor format offers options for you to practice at your own comfortable pace. The Yoga Post guides through science backed movement that will yoke your mind and body to your life! \n\n\n\nAll levels encouraged.  \n\n\n\nCydney Crain Post will be the instructor for this class. She is a certified yoga teacher and founder of The Yoga Post\, a virtual and in-person space for newbies and seasoned yogis to explore the benefits of a regular practice. Yoga\, asana\, and philosophy have always been a part of her life and it is her hope to help people make it a part of theirs. The goal of The Yoga Post is to create opportunities for people to take care of themselves so they are fueled in their daily lives.  \n\n\n\nPlease note the following: \n\n\n\n– Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to get set up. \n\n\n\n– Participants are required to sign a health waiver upon arrival. DESCRIPTION:he Evanston Public Library is hosting the “The Bias Inside Us” from Saturday\, April 9\, through Friday\, May 8\, 2022. This community engagement project from the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) raises awareness about the social science and psychology of implicit bias\, the impact of this bias and what people can do about it. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the exhibition itself\, the Evanston Public Library along with partners\, YWCA Evanston\, and Kids Create Change\, will host a series of events throughout the Evanston community to explore issues of bias more personally\, including a Community Art Build\,  a Human Library\, and multiple workshops on how we can address our own biases. Stop by the Main Library any time during regular library hours to explore the exhibit for yourself.
