Wellness Wednesdays: The Yoga Post

Central Street Evanston is hosting “Wellness Wednesdays” a new series of free fitness classes in Independence Park provided by the fitness and wellness studios on Central Street! Please bring a yoga mat/blanket and water for class. *Blended Health & Smoothie Bar Evanston is offering a 20% discount and $3 wellness shots for class participants. Stop by 2002 Central to redeem and mention “Wellness Wednesdays!”
Please join The Yoga Post for their ANCHOR class. The Yoga Post does not offer typical gym yoga. Their method is rooted in consistency, accessibility, and joy. TYP will support you making rituals out of your routine. And the Anchor format offers options for you to practice at your own comfortable pace. The Yoga Post guides through science backed movement that will yoke your mind and body to your life!
All levels encouraged.
Cydney Crain Post will be the instructor for this class. She is a certified yoga teacher and founder of The Yoga Post, a virtual and in-person space for newbies and seasoned yogis to explore the benefits of a regular practice. Yoga, asana, and philosophy have always been a part of her life and it is her hope to help people make it a part of theirs. The goal of The Yoga Post is to create opportunities for people to take care of themselves so they are fueled in their daily lives.
Please note the following:
– Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class to get set up.
– Participants are required to sign a health waiver upon arrival. These will be provided by Central Street Evanston at Independence Park the day of class.
– This class is limited to 15 participants so please cancel your registration if you cannot attend to allow for others to sign up.
– In the event of inclement weather, the class will be cancelled and/or rescheduled for a later date.
